Go Home and Lead a Quiet Life

The project grew from a desire to look more closely at places I had long overlooked. Growing up near the Dutch-German border, I rarely saw anything remarkable in the landscapes around me. Only with time did I begin to see these landscapes for what they were, rather than what I imagined they lacked. What once felt ordinary slowly became something I learned to appreciate, not in grand views or landmarks, but in quiet roads, empty fields, neglected buildings and the subtle traces of human presence.
